How come some people get rich investing in blockchain projects and others don’t? Well, I‘d say some of them simply don’t understand what they are doing, and the others are slack. If your decision is based on hopes, promises and paintings of a bright future, it‘s nothing more than a bet on a horse in this industry. And if you’re not willing to spend some time and get familiar with the project, why do you even put your money on it? That’s crazy!
The team; what they’ve already achieved; do they have a product or at least a prototype – that’s what I’m looking for and I believe everyone should too. Several projects that caught my attention:
- Steem (STEEM) – a cryptocurrency that is used by a decentralized social media platform Steemit that motivates users through micropayments. It‘s like Reddit, but instead of upvotes and downvotes, users can encourage others by rewarding them for their posts. This makes STEEM a functional cryptocurrency, and as Steemit grows, so does STEEM.
- Another functional cryptocurrency is Edgeless (EDG); these tokens can be used at Edgeless online casino. It‘s already available to the users and offers Dice, Blackjack, Baccarat, Slots and Crash and they just released that they will have Roulette as well. And you don‘t even need to have your own EDG tokens to play the games – you can deposit BTC or ETH. Stats shows that this team is doing something right – more than 135 million EDG tokens have been wagered on the platform, in one month went up by 140 places at CMC.
- Basic Attention Token (BAT) is another great example of a cryptocurrency that can be used in the real-world. This is a native token of the Brave Browser, an internet browser with a built-in ad-blocking and tracer blocking. The browser also offers users opt-in to receive ads and reward valued sites with BAT or get a reward for seeing ads themselves. With 5.5 million active users, Brave is one of the most popular cryptocurrency-based products in the world.
Any more projects you know that are legit right now?
